Five 9s Digital landed Time Warner (Spectrum) in the 731 E. Trade Data Center Downtown Charlotte. Centurylink engaged Five 9s to market and lease excess space and capacity in this single-tenant data center. The 10,000 SF, multi-MW Time Warner data center lease is a welcome new occupant to this highly-connected three (3) building data center complex located in Downtown Charlotte. Other occupants in this highly-connected carrier hotel data center complex include AT&T, Verizon, TierPoint, Digital Realty/TelX, Centurylink and Segra among others.
The 731 E. Trade data center is part of a 3 building data center complex originally developed and owned by the Five 9s Digital team and later sold to Digital Realty Trust (NYSE: DLR). Digital Realty's Charlotte portfolio remains 100% leased with Time Warner occupying a portion of excess space previously leased by Centurylink. Centurylink remains a large tenant in this premier "carrier hotel" data center complex.
