Five 9s Digital provided advisory services on behalf of an institutional investment client in the acquisition of a single-tenant 168,000 SF data center located in Norwalk, Connecticut. The data center sold for $58M.
CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE)leases 100% of the data center on a long-term basis via its $400M acquisition of Cervalis in mid-2015. CyrusOne's acquisiton of Cervalis included four (4) data centers in the Northeast including locations in New York, New Jersey, Stamford and Norwalk.
CyrusOne's Norwalk data center was developed as a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility in 2014.
