AI Data Center Operator Acquires 5.5 MW Facility in Pittsburgh
Five 9s Digital and Colliers advised on the disposition of a vacant 42,000 SF data center located in Pittsburgh. The new owner, an international data center operator, intends to immediately utilize the facility for its AI platform. The data center boasts 5.5 MW of on-site power with near term power growth capacity.
Pittsburgh has long been considered the birthplace of Artificial Intelligence, originating at nearby Carnegie Mellon in the 1950s. The city is home to numerous AI companies, a pool of AI talent and hosts the leading AI graduate program in the sector.
The data center sold for $7.12M.
